Lanson Vintage Gold Label 2002 is, as the other editions realised – in1904, 1928, 1955, 1971, 1976, 1983, or 1990 – based only on Grands Crus, maintaining the fruitness and freshness typical of the House. Vintage 2002 is a complex and rich champagne, ideal to accompany a meal. The assemblage is 47% chardonnay and 53% Pinot Noir. Tasting Notes Eye Light gold colour with fine bubbles forming a noticeable ring. Nose Intense nose revealing notes of candied fruits, grape jam, acacia and lime tree flowers honey. Palate Dense attack expressing rich and complex aromas of winter pear and quince with some notes of fig, it is well balanced with a  persistent finish. Food Pairing Champagne Lanson Gold Label 2002 will be the perfect companion for creamy fish, white meat, small game or refined Brie cheese.
