Fresh and beautifully balanced, Femme de Champagne vintage 2000 symbolizes the expertise of the House and is blended exclusively from Grand Cru grapes and only made in exceptional years (such as 1990, 1995 and 1996). Chardonnay Grand Crus of Mont-Aigu from Chouilly, Chapelle of Avize, Terre de Noël from Oger, and Chetillon and Aillerand from Le Mesnil-sur-Oger are vinified separately in oak barrels to highlight the elegance and vitality, while a touch of Pinot Noir imparts roundness and character. This champagne, with its distinctive lines of its bottles together created by Carol Duval-Leroy and her wine maker Sandrine Logette –Jardin exhibits lemon candy, vanilla, coffee and hazelnut aromas and flavours. The blend 95% Chardonnay - 5% Pinot Noir 6 grams/litre of sugar Tasting Notes Eye Yellow gold colour with extremely fine bubbles Nose Very aromatic, floral and fresh with hints of oranges and brioche Mouth Supple, creamy and stylish, it has brioche, vanilla and wood aromas alternating with citrus fruits such as lemon and mandarin.  A long coffee and butter-scotch aftertaste.
