Drappier Carte d’Or

Cuvee: Brut Non-Vintage
Vintage: Multi-Vintage
The very expression of Drappier style. The yellow and gold label, created in 1952, is the distinctive sign of a rich, delicious, beautifully fresh cuvée.

Blend
80 to 90% of Pinot Noir, 5% Pinot Meunier and 5 to 15% Chardonnay, almost a Blanc de Noirs. Dosage: Brut

Tasting Notes
Eye
It is rich gold, even coppery gold in colour. No interfering techniques of vinification are allowed to alter the natural colour of the cuvée.

Nose
The bouquet of sweet nectar, quickly gives way to the aromas of stoned fruits, such as the white peach of the vines.

Palate
The ensemble is immediately vinous, dominated by ripe fruits: peach, apricot and red fruits. The natural freshness is only lightly clothed by a discreet dosage, ensuring a finish of great length.

Food Pairing
Simple crayfish or mushroom soufflé.

Ageing
As it continues to mature, the Carte d’Or will surprise you with notes of gingerbread, preserved fruits and Viennese pastries.
