Bollinger Vieilles Vignes Françaises - 2004 vintage - is a very special champagne produced from old vines that survived phylloxera, in two very small plots attached to the House, right in Aÿ gran cru village. The Vieilles Vignes Françaises (the Old French Vines) were harvested on September 30th 2004 and reveal a beautiful Pinot Noir. Wines were aged for more than twice the time required by the appellation (30 months).

100% Pinot Noir. Dosage 6 to 7 g/l

Tasting Notes
Eye: deep gold ; the colour of a bright autumn morning

Nose: unusual depth, power and concentration; notes of wax, cognac and spices; candied aromas

Mouth: The palate is a continuation of the olfactory flavours
