William Deutz Rosé 2000

Cuvee: Rosé, Vintage
Vintage: 2000
TASTING NOTES
• To the eye, this wine is an invitation: its appearance is of a magnificent brilliance. The shades of color combine orange, old gold and light copper reflections. The wine presents a fine, regular bubble, a testament to its long aging period.
• The nose is frank, very upright, yet delicate at the same time. The aromatic profile is already coming through: an appealing range of ripe fruit. almost a fruit paste. An attractive maturity which takes nothing away from the clean expression of each component.
• In the mouth, the attack is expressive and full of flavor at the same time. The wine keeps its promise: with a remarkable balance, the fruity notes are superb, upright and generous, but without excess.  The aromatic palette is rich and harmonious: sharp gooseberry aromas, which give way to mineral and Virginia tobacco notes. The finish is fresh, refined and lingers remarkably.
• This wine is excellent for laying down.
