Bollinger Rosé

Cuvee: Rosé
Vintage: Multi-Vintage
Bollinger Rosé Non Vintage is produced by adding exceptional red wine grands crus, reserved specifically for its production, to the Special Cuvée. With 62% Pinot Noir, 24% Chardonnay, 14% Meunier, only 5 to 6% red wine is added due to the power of this cuvée. Over 85% Grands and Premiers crus are used. This champagne is aged for more than twice the time required by the appellation (15 months).

The Blend
62% Pinot Noir, 24% Chardonnay, 14% Meunier. 5 to 6% red wine. Dosage: 7 to 8 g/l

Tasting Notes
Eye: Bronze tones combined with the intense depth of a great red wine

Nose: Red berries: hints of red currant, cherry and wild strawberry; a spicy touch, not unlike Special Cuvée

Mouth: A subtle combination of structure, length and vivacity, with a tannic finish due to the adjunction of red wine; bubbles as fine as velvet; flavours of wild berries

Food Pairing
Crayfish, lobster, one-side cooked salmon. Japanese cuisine or not-so-spicy Asian cuisine. Fruit based dessert: fruit soup, strawberry tart, raspberries
