Launched in occasion of the 170 year anniversary of the House, on September 16, 2013, Besserat de Bellefon Cuvée BdB is a fine and elegant champagne elaborated from the prestigious crus in Oger, Chouilly, Cramant, Cumières, Festigny, Ambonnay, Mailly , Mareuil sur Ay and based on the 5 best historical cuvées of Besserat de Bellefon House.

BdB is a complex champagne that compliments food due to the smoothness typical of the House. Only 7,000 bottles of this special wine are sold each year.

The Blend
45% chardonnay, 45% pinot noir and 10% pinot meunier from Oger, Chouilly, Cramant, Cumières, Festigny, Ambonnay, Mailly and Mareuil-sur-Ay.

Eye
Pale golden color with a very fine foam

Nose
Fruity, woody and vegetal

Palate
Notes of brioche, panettone and candied fruit. The low dosage and earthy undertones gives it a unique complexity. A light and lively wine

Cold starters based on vegetables, goat cheese, seafood or white meat and desserts based on dry fruits, nougats and nuts
