Barons de Rothschild Brut

Cuvee: Brut Non-Vintage
Vintage: Multi-Vintage
Barons de Rothschild Brut is the result of a complex blend, of 60% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.

40% of the wines utilised are reserve wines, a mark of exceptional quality and consistency over time.

The Blend
60% Chardonnay, primarily grands crus from the Côte des Blancs, 40% Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, mainly from Grands Crus in Verzenay, Ay, and Bouzy and Premiers Crus in Mareuil-sur-Ay. 40% reserve wines.

Tasting Notes
Eye
Golden highlights, combined with very fine bubbles that carry an abundant, persistent foam.

Nose
Aromas of pear and nuts (almonds, fresh hazelnuts) marrying with hints of white flowers and faint toasty notes and subtle aromas of white fruits.

Palate
A strong, assertive opening that leads into a well-rounded wine - powerful yet restrained; the sign of long aging in traditional cellars.

Food pairing
The low dosage along with its keeping at least six months after the disgorgement process give this champagne the possibility to enjoy it as an aperitif or throughout the meal.
