Cuvée is the blend of wines that make up a specific champagne. It can also refer to the finest portion of juice obtained from pressing the grapes. It corresponds to the first 2,050 liters of juice out of 2,550 liters obtained from pressing 4,000 kilograms of grapes (a marc). The best champagnes are usually made with the cuvée only.
